A Sparkling Hard Seltzer w/ Lemonade & Lavender
We’ve got some Hard Lemonade for sale! And look at that color! That beautiful, natural color comes from the use of an insane amount of lavender pods that we use to brew a ginormous, fresh batch of lavender tea, that then gets blended with our lemonade-style seltzer. It drinks pretty balanced, with the acidity and sweetness hitting at just the right level, and then a soft tannic hit of dryness from the lavender. Enjoy straight out of the can, or pour over ice. Also legit with a dram of Old Tom Gin.

A Paloma-Style Hard Seltzer
Inspired by the Paloma cocktail, Pierre has been hard at work these last few months trying to create the most perfect version of this yummo refresher using only the purest ingredients. Pink grapefruit juice, lots of grapefruit zest, and cane sugar come together with just the right amount of booze, acidity, and richness for that perfect sip of vacation vibes. You can enjoy this one at our spot, or take home cans to enjoy at yours. Served with a 'lil ice and a fresh grapefruit wheel.

Naked And Famous Fizz

We got together with the good good people at Tip Top Proper Cocktails and dreamed, and dreamed, until we came up with this super delish magic fizz! We took inspo from their canned Naked & Famous cocktail, dreaming of it of it as a tall, lower abv, super carbonated version of itself, instead of the strong sipping cocktail that it is. We started with a 100% Blue Agave fermentation, hit it with smoked citrus, and a range of Alpine and Aperitivo botanicals. The result? Beautifully burnt orange in color, with lots of fine bubbles, and insanely refreshing! The balance between the fresh lime, saffron, herbal, (very delicate waft of) smoke, and its firm acidity in the finish, make it a summer time delight!

It's Always Summer in Erick's Backyard
A Bamburg-Style Smoked Helles Lager
Erick took the lead on this one, and combined together German oak-smoked wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops to create a beautifully balanced medium-bodied lager. It pours crystal clear and super pale in color with a fine creamy foam (from natural carbonation) that lasts to the final sip. On the nose, a lovely smokey aroma is complemented with herbal and spicy notes of dried thyme and green tea, followed by hints of wood fired country bread on the palate.

An Almost Authentic German - Style Pils
Brewed and filtered completely completely on our own at our spot in Costa Mesa , we did our usual thing, and used all German-grown malt and hops for the ultimate ALMOST AUTHENTIC-NESS! The bitterness is full and hits every little crevice of your palate, but remains snappy and doesn't overwhelm. German grown Saphir hops take center stage, and show off a pleasant herbal quality that lingers into the finish.

Josh, one of our brewers at our of spot in Orange, put this one together. Here's him talking about it: Sometimes you find yourself asking "how did I get here?". The answer, life just moves faster than needed. Don't forget to stop and smell the hops!
So, put on your tutti-frutti party hat and enjoy this crisp, clean IPA because you made it another day! We coo'pooled Nectaron and Peacharine to capture as much of that juicy stone fruit vibes as possible! Paired with a dryhop of Mosaic and Nectaron, this tastes like a bowl of 2018s Strawberry Cough crossed with Moroccan Peaches, with a dab of rainbow sour belts and double bubble.
This ain't heart surgery, it's a West Coast IPA!

Made with a mountain of old fashioned oats, we keep this thing as light in color as we can before its double dry hopped. Milky-yellowy-white, smooth and creamy, with hoppy layers of strawberry smoothie, basil flowers, and pear. Finishes with those white frosting vibes that we can't get enough of.

If you haven't heard of Jasper, it's a beer by Fidens that changed the way we look at hazy IPA's. It's intense, rich, full-bodied, soft, dangerously pint worthy, and boasts an impressive 4.39 rating on Untappd with over 14k reviews. So, we're beyond honored to be hitting y'all with another release from our Ghostwriter's series, where we take the exact recipe from another brewery, and make it on our system. We mirrored the water profile from Albany, and matched every ingredient and process as closely as we possibly could. The result? This golden lil' ray of sunshine is packed fuuuuuull of hoppy goodness!!! Like a super ripe tropical fruit salad, it's like a lottery ticket for your mouth, where you get the lump sum all at once, and then just live off of the interest. From sniff to sip, this thing is packed full of surprises, and then just gives and gives and gives. Collaboration with Fidens Brewing Company.

When Sam (the Conjuror of Liquid Spells from Brujos) hit me up about going big on Galaxy with this batch, I was pretty skeptical. I was straight up like “Heeeeeeeeell no bb!”, cause there were years where that hop wasn’t giving us the greatness that made us fall in love with it in the first place. But, come to find out, I was trip’n. Sam was right, and the crazy good lot of Galaxy he sent us straight from his own supply made this beer sing like the beautiful lil’ pandemonium of parakeets that we all know and love. Tasting notes? The fruit expression on this one gives and gives with spoonful after spoonful of yummo fruit salad, with white grape and peach Kerns Nectar up front. The ride continues with layers of strawberry tropical tie dye fruit roll up, fresh cantaloupe, this bright orange pillowy depth, some Pineapple fluff, and even a hit of Meringue. So, If you’re ready to free yourself from the daily shackles of boredom, jump into this tunnel of time with me and Sam! It’s the vibe ya need!

Back in July, on a trip to England, Pete had a aha moment while drinking a Dark Mild from Left Handed Giant out of Bristol. It was the beer of the trip for him, and he knew that he had to figure out how to make it. So, let me introduce to you, the Ghostwriters Series! A new thing from us, where we take the exact recipe from another brewery, and make it on our system. About the beer…Brewed with all English malts (of course from @simpsonsmalt ) and a fruit forward English yeast strain, and served on nitro, it’s a lovely low strength beer! Super malty in flavor, with lovely little hits of milk chocolate, pecan, and black tea. For true Cask-like vibes, drink at 50f.

A Japanese-Style Wheat Beer w/ Fresh Yuzu and Sea Salt
More Yuzu! When our friend Shinya visited us from Yokohama Bay Brewing out of Japan, he brought us SUITCASES full of fresh squeezed Yuzu juice, and this stuff was so potent, so aromatic, and so intense, that we just had to make another one with it. This has salted radler vibes all over it, as the wheat beer does not go through a souring process, but instead gets hit with all that fresh squeezed Yuzu to add a delicate and refreshing acidity, and then hit with a good level of sea salt for that Gose-style drinking experience. Stoked on this one!

Puncheon Project: Peach
A Barrel Fermented Mixed Culture Sour Beer w/Peaches
We’re having so much fun with our lil sour beer program led by Papa™️ out of The Rage Cave in Costa Mesa! What are we doing with it? Well…we run with the perpetual blending technique, where we always keep a portion of the last batch in each barrel that we ferment. A mixed culture is used, some of which we’ve propagated from the area ourselves. With this batch, we used a blend of barrels, where we’re selecting for bright citrus funk and an acidity that’s harmonious for us and pairs well with the peaches. For the fruit, it’s added to the beer and allowed to ferment until wonderfully dry. The whole batch is then keg conditioned, allowing this third fermentation to carbonate the beer and develop delicious depth over the course of 6 months. The result? The aroma is all fuzzy peach skins and orange blossom water, with the palate showing through with bergamot, elderflower petals and sour peach rings. With a medium level of acidity and a finish that is dry and refreshing. Draft Only.

We teamed up with our friend Nick from One Drop out of Sydney for this one. If you’re not familiar with his work, we here at The Cheek consider him the official Smoothie Beer Legend™️ of Australia, or heck, maybe even the world!?!? He gave us all his secrets on this one and we’re pretty dang excited to have you taste it. It’s a wheat beer that goes through a unique souring process with lactobacillus, then through alcoholic fermentation with kviek yeast, and then gets hit with CRAAAAAAZY levels of Mango, Dragonfruit, Coconut Cream, Banana, and even (dairy free) Soft Serve Mix ?. It’s thick, creamy, and so fruit forward. It’s like drinking a tropical sherbet, with your best friend, at the beach, where no booze is allowed.
