Lavy Lemonade
A Sparkling Hard Seltzer w/ Lemonade & Lavender
We’ve got some Hard Lemonade for sale! And look at that color! That beautiful, natural color comes from the use of an insane amount of lavender pods that we use to brew a ginormous, fresh batch of lavender tea, that then gets blended with our lemonade-style seltzer. It drinks pretty balanced, with the acidity and sweetness hitting at just the right level, and then a soft tannic hit of dryness from the lavender. Enjoy straight out of the can, or pour over ice. Also legit with a dram of Old Tom Gin.

9 Year American Lager
w/ a Kiss of Tangier
Not all celebratory beers need to explode all your senses! So here’s something a bit more delicate, a snappy little American Lager using Tangier, a newer hop varietal from our friend John at Segal Ranch. We’ve used this hop in a lot of different ways over the last year or so, but so far this is our favorite expression. Used lightly in a lagerbier to show off a lovely mix of orange zest and orange blossom vibes. Easy drinking and and oh so refreshing.

Good For Morale
Our Finest Czech-Style Pilsner w/ Saaz
We brewers are our happiest when we can take our time making a lager that we’re all stoked to drink. Using a mix of floor malted pilsner malt, Saaz hops from the motherland, a lager yeast that helps express the maltiness of the beer, and spund’d to create tiny bubbles of carbonation. Compared to German Pils, you’ll find this a bit richer and fuller, with a dab of mid palate sweetness that pairs well with the fine bitterness you can expect from this type of beer. Tasting notes? Think doughy bread, alpine herbs, and a lil honey.

The healthy portion of rice used to make this one does freak’n wonders to the beer! It lightens up the body, and the color, and makes for what some Pallys would call suuuuuper criiiiiiiiiiiispy! It’s a beer made for literally EVERY occasion. Eating yummo food? Drink this. Going to your favorite brewpub to hang with Cheeky? This one! Rodger This!!! Collab w/ Faction
A Faction-Style Pale Ale w/ Nelson, Mosaic & Krush
We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Rodger Davis of Faction brewing for a brew day at our spot in Costa Mesa a few weeks back! Not many people know this, but he’s originally from Orange County and comes out to visit his Dad in Newport. Rodger left OC, moved around a bit, and then settled into working in breweries in the Bay Area until opening his own brewery in Alameda in 2013. Rodger’s fingerprints are all over this pale ale. He kept asking us what we wanted to do, ingredients to use, or when to add, but we just kept asking him to make it his way. Not the most collaborative, but sometimes that’s the point. Like someone cooking in your kitchen, it always tastes better when someone else makes it. Tasting notes? Think fresh citrus oils, cactus cooler, and a dab of the Devil’s lettuce.

Beautiful Catastrophe
DDH West Coast IPA w/ Tropical Fusion Hops
Our good good Pallys™️ at @freestylehops have officially created our favorite hop blend of the year via their brand new Tropical Fusion! A happy accident occurred when a range of different hop varieties (Riwaka, Southern Cross, Motueka, and maybe a few other things…) were planted on one single block together (you normally keep the lots separated). They harvested that hop block all at the same time to create a field blend of these different hop varieties that is better than the sum of their parts. We got our hands on a bit more Tropical Fusion this year, so here’s our first can release of this one, and one of our favorite WC IPA releases in a moment. Tasting notes? Think grapefruit oil, POG juice, and intense yummo tropical candy.

Nelson (It's What We Like Here)
West Coast IPA w/ 100% Nelson Hops
West Coast IPA w/ 100% Nelson // Our hand selected lot of Nelson Sauvin from @freestylefarm in New Zealand, is so special this year, that we can't stop wanting to make more and more beers with em! So, here's a simple recipe of Pilsner Malt and Nelson hops to showcase it best! We went lighter on the bitterness, doubled up the whirlpool hopping, dry hopped at the start of fermentation, and then again at the end of fermentation. Flavor profile? Think Oro Blanco grapefruit zest, fresh cut kiwi, and Sauv Blanc.

Short On Time
DDH West Coast IPA w/ Mosaic, Citra & Krush
You’re already 10 minutes late, and somehow the clock is moving faster than you are. Your keys have vanished, your phone’s at 7.2%, and traffic is absolutely not on your side!! Being short on time is practically your default setting, a thrilling combo of poor planning and relentless optimism. We know the feeling! That’s why we made a beer to embrace the chaos of never seeming to have enough time. Packed with Mosaic, Citra, and a dab of Krush. The result is wonderfully dry, but packed to the brim with hoppy flavors! Think fresh blueberries, hippies, grapefruit candy, and the most wonderful linger of sweet cannabis.

Which Echoes Belong?
DDH West Coast DIPA w/ Mosaic, Citra Cryo & Nectaron
This hop blend comes together in a way that compliments each single varietal, playing to each hops strength in a way we’re pretty pumped on! I could say that we did that on purpose, and yes our tinkering is thoughtful, but landing here with these aromatics is so doooope. Tasting notes? Think gummy bears. A big handful of em. Terps for days. Orange Bang. A dab of fresh pine. The linger is long and sticky, with plenty of hop burps.

Our first ever release at our OG spot over 9 years ago makes its return, but double dry hopped! Brewed on a mountain of old fashioned oats, that shine through with that milky yellow haze that we love so much. Nine years later, we’re still thrilled it worked.

The Movie Was Better
DDH Hazy DIPA w/ Citra, Nelson & Riwaka
I hate to bring this up, and I know it never happens, but what about the time when a movie is somehow better than the book?!!?! I know it’s impossible. But it happens, right? Like, the book Dune was prescribed to me by my doctor as a nighttime sleep medication, and it worked wonderfully! Slept like a baby. So when the movie Dune 2 came out, I was thinking it would be the same type of nighttime sleeping aid, but instead I ended up staying up super late watching it cause it was awesome!!! So yeah, give it a chance. Tasting notes? All fruit no fluff! Passionfruit syrup, mango candy, cake frosting, and sticky rice

It’s our series of beers highlighting the extremes of one single hop variety, double dry hopped to overload the senses with all of what it is. This batch uses our lot of Nelson Bliss from our pals at @freeestylehops , a blended varietal where they mix together an early harvest lot of Nelson Sauvin with a late harvest lot of Nelson Sauvin, in order to try to get the best of both worlds. This Nelson helps create a flavor profile of yummy ripe guava, Oro Blanco Grapefruit, NZ Sauv Blanc, and Cotton Candy.

Shhhhhh...This Is Ryan's Award Winning Brown Ale
English-Style Brown Ale
Our 2023 Gold Medal winning brown ale is nothing new, as it's a style that's been around for ages, but we get really excited about the classics too! Ryan Field’s famous recipe put the focus of this beer all in the blend of toasted and caramelized malted barleys from our pals across the pond at @simpsonsmalt. Lightly hopped, just enough to create balance, and smooooooth. Flavor notes? Think caramel sauce, toasty bread, and malty tea.
