A Spiked Sparkling Lemon Water w/ Lavender and a kiss of sweetness
We’ve got some Hard Lemonade for sale! And look at that color! That beautiful, natural color comes from the use of an insane amount of lavender pods that we use to brew a ginormous, fresh batch of lavender tea, that then gets blended with our lemonade-style seltzer. It drinks pretty balanced, with the acidity and sweetness hitting at just the right level, and then a soft tannic hit of dryness from the lavender. Enjoy straight out of the can, or pour over ice. Also legit with a dram of Old Tom Gin.

Pierre's Paloma
A Paloma-Style Hard Seltzer
Inspired by the Paloma cocktail, Pierre has been hard at work these last few months trying to create the most perfect version of this yummo refresher using only the purest ingredients. Pink grapefruit juice, lots of grapefruit zest, and cane sugar come together with just the right amount of booze, acidity, and richness for that perfect sip of vacation vibes. You can enjoy this one at our spot, or take home cans to enjoy at yours. Served with a 'lil ice and a fresh grapefruit wheel.

Naked And Famous Fizz
A Fizzy Agave Hard Seltzer w/ Alpine & Aperitivo Botanicals & A lil’ smoked Citrus
We got together with the good good people at Tip Top Proper Cocktails and dreamed, and dreamed, until we came up with this super delish magic fizz! We took inspo from their canned Naked & Famous cocktail, dreaming of it of it as a tall, lower abv, super carbonated version of itself, instead of the strong sipping cocktail that it is. We started with a 100% Blue Agave fermentation, hit it with smoked citrus, and a range of Alpine and Aperitivo botanicals. The result? Beautifully burnt orange in color, with lots of fine bubbles, and insanely refreshing! The balance between the fresh lime, saffron, herbal, (very delicate waft of) smoke, and its firm acidity in the finish, make it a summer time delight!

Suitcases of Yuzu
A Japanese-Style Wheat Beer w/ Fresh Yuzu and Sea Salt
More Yuzu! When our friend Shinya visited us from Yokohama Bay Brewing out of Japan, he brought us SUITCASES full of fresh squeezed Yuzu juice, and this stuff was so potent, so aromatic, and so intense, that we just had to make another one with it. This has salted radler vibes all over it, as the wheat beer does not go through a souring process, but instead gets hit with all that fresh squeezed Yuzu to add a delicate and refreshing acidity, and then hit with a good level of sea salt for that Gose-style drinking experience. Stoked on this one!

An Almost Authentic German-Style Pils
Brewed and filtered completely completely on our own at our spot in Costa Mesa , we did our usual thing, and used all German-grown malt and hops for the ultimate ALMOST AUTHENTIC-NESS! The bitterness is full and hits every little crevice of your palate, but remains snappy and doesn't overwhelm. German grown Saphir hops take center stage, and show off a pleasant herbal quality that lingers into the finish.

Using all German ingredients, except for the water, each batch is another baby step towards recreating what we’ve experienced in Munich. Straw in color, with a subtly and nuance that is hard to describe and instead needs to be experienced! Notes of fresh baked bread, herbal tea, and puffed rice, create a beer style that is praised for it’s liter-worthy drinkability.

Our search for the perfect lager charged with all the modern hoppy goodies continues! This one gets hit with the holy trinity of hops and maintains ultimate yummo vibes from sniff to sip. Tasting notes? Think grapefruit zest and strawberry candy, with a kiss of the devil’s lettuce in the linger.

DDH West Coast IPA w/ Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe & Quantum Nelson
Our Radiant Beauty returns! But this time, with a bit of a face lift and modernized…again, so it’s Radian’r!!! When we first made this beer as our opening IPA back in 2017, the name of the beer was a nod to our mascot Cheeky! We even put all those wonderful lil rays of radiance around our logo too, showing the world how radiant Cheeky is! So this one takes off from there, gets a paler base malt, gets DDH’d, and then also gets hit with this crazy Nelson Sauvin hop liquid from our pals at @abstraxhops . Tasting notes? Think passionfruit, pineapple, Oro Blanco grapefruit, and a long linger of yum.

Collab w/ Yokohama Bay // DDH Hazy IPA w/ Fresh Yuzu Added w/ Superdelic, Citra & Motueka
Our friend Shinya from Yokohama Bay Brewing out of Japan paid us a visit, and he brought with him a bunch of fresh squeezed Yuzu straight from the source! (If you’re not familiar, Japanese Yuzu is a citrus that has its own unique flavor that is kind of a mix between tart lemon, sweet mandarin, and bitter grapefruit.) Hops were rubbed, sniffed and eventually selected by Shinya and Kenta during our brew day, using varietals that would complement the Yuzu in all the right ways. Results? This thing pops off from sniff to sip with all the lovely fresh citrus and zesty vibes you could hope for! Like, it’s wonderfully juicy, super unique, and so legit. Such a fun beer.

Back in July, on a trip to England, Pete had a aha moment while drinking a Dark Mild from Left Handed Giant out of Bristol. It was the beer of the trip for him, and he knew that he had to figure out how to make it. So, let me introduce to you, the Ghostwriters Series! A new thing from us, where we take the exact recipe from another brewery, and make it on our system. About the beer…Brewed with all English malts (of course from @simpsonsmalt ) and a fruit forward English yeast strain, and served on nitro, it’s a lovely low strength beer! Super malty in flavor, with lovely little hits of milk chocolate, pecan, and black tea. For true Cask-like vibes, drink at 50f.

Collab w/ One Drop // A Red Mango Ice Cream Smoothie Sour
We teamed up with our friend Nick from One Drop out of Sydney for this one. If you’re not familiar with his work, we here at The Cheek consider him the official Smoothie Beer Legend™️ of Australia, or heck, maybe even the world!?!? He gave us all his secrets on this one and we’re pretty dang excited to have you taste it. It’s a wheat beer that goes through a unique souring process with lactobacillus, then through alcoholic fermentation with kviek yeast, and then gets hit with CRAAAAAAZY levels of Mango, Dragonfruit, Coconut Cream, Banana, and even (dairy free) Soft Serve Mix ?. It’s thick, creamy, and so fruit forward. It’s like drinking a tropical sherbet, with your best friend, at the beach, where no booze is allowed.
